Refund and Returns

At CHANDA MAMA, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to delivering high-quality toys and stationery in perfect condition. To ensure transparency and protect our customers, we operate on an Open Box Delivery system.

Please read our updated policy carefully, as acceptance of delivery implies agreement to these terms

1. Open Box Delivery - Your Responsibility at Delivery

To ensure you receive exactly what you ordered in perfect condition, all our deliveries are "Open Box Deliveries."

  • What it means: The delivery executive will open the package in your presence.

  • Your Action: You must inspect the product thoroughly for any physical damage, defects, missing parts, or if it's the wrong item before accepting the package and signing the proof of delivery.

  • If You Find an Issue: If the product is damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, DO NOT ACCEPT THE DELIVERY. Please reject the package and inform the delivery executive of the reason. The item will be returned to us, and we will dispatch a replacement or process a full refund at no extra cost to you.

  • After Acceptance: Accepting the delivery and signing the acknowledgement form confirms that you have received the product in perfect condition. Therefore, no returns or complaints regarding physical damage, wrong products, or missing parts will be accepted after you have accepted the delivery.

2. Returns for Functional Defects (Post-Delivery)

This section applies only to items that have a functional malfunction that could not have been detected during the Open Box Delivery inspection.

Special Provision for Remote-Controlled & Electronic Toys

We understand that some electronic items & toys may have manufacturing defects that are not visible. We offer a special return window for such cases.

  • Eligibility: If a remote-controlled or electronic toy malfunctions (e.g., the remote does not work, the toy does not power on) and this issue is discovered after delivery, you may be eligible for a return

  • Conditions:

  1. The issue must be reported to us within 48 hours of receiving the product.

  2. The product must not be physically damaged, torn, broken, or show any signs of misuse. It should be in the same physical condition as it was at the time of delivery.

  3. You must have the original box, all accessories, and manuals that came with the product

  • Process: To report a malfunction, email us at chandamamagkp1@gmail.com with a clear video / image demonstrating the problem and your order number. Our technical team will assess the issue. If the claim is approved, we will arrange for a return and provide a replacement.

3. "Change of Mind" Returns

Due to our Open Box Delivery policy, we have a very limited scope for "change of mind" returns. Returns are only accepted if the product is still in its original, factory-sealed, and unopened packaging.

  • Return Window: You have 2 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a "change of mind" return.

  • Eligibility: The item's outer brand packaging/box must be completely unopened and untampered with

  • Process: Contact us at chandamamagkp1@gmail.com or WhatsApp number +917458893575 with your order number. If approved, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Under any circumstances, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Any item that has been accepted after an Open Box Delivery inspection (for reasons of physical damage, wrong item, etc.).

  • Items on "Final Sale" or "Clearance."

  • Personalized or custom-made items.

  • Consumable art supplies that have been used (e.g., opened paint tubes, used clay, drawn-in colouring books).

  • Digital products, gift cards, and downloadable content.

  • Any electronic toy that is physically damaged by the user after delivery.

  • Food items like Cake, Pastry, Candies and Chocolates.

5. Refund Process

  • For Rejected Deliveries: A full refund or replacement will be processed within 24-48 hours of the item being returned to our warehouse.

  • For Approved Functional Defect Returns: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a replacement. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued.

  • For Approved "Change of Mind" Returns: Once we receive the sealed item, we will issue a refund minus the original shipping charges (if any).

All refunds will be credited to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
